Paver Cleaning & Sealing

We received a call from a client in Oviedo FL. They were uncertain of what could be done to clean and bring the the patio back to life. Our team went out for the initial consultation, and we immediately recommend our paver sealing service for this client. After providing them with a detailed quote and the process of our service, they accepted and we scheduled the project. This project began with a pre-treatment of an algaecide to help break down and kill all the organic growth that had built up of the years. After the proper dwell time, to allow the chemicals to properly to their job we began to surface clean the entire patio/steps and side walls to remove all the remaining contaminants. The patio was still compromised with a few small rust stains, which were treated and removed. This project also had a build of Calcium Carbonate or "efflorescence" which is a white chalky or powdery residue that typically appears on the paver and the joints, this was also treated and cleaned. All weed growth that had formed into the paver joints from the years of neglect was also removed. Then, the pavers were ready to be sanded which was done with ASTM C-144 joint sand using the process of hydro compaction to properly seat the sand into the paver joints. The pavers were then allowed time to dry before returning to apply 2 coats of Ure-seal H20 sealer.
